摘要：A compliant conveyance system (10) for processing mailpieces along a feedpath (FP), e.g., printing on a first surface of a mailpiece (14), while being registered againsta contact surface of a registration plate (18). The conveyance system comprises at leastone conveyor belt (20) opposing the contact surface of the registration plate (18), acontinuous, uninterrupted, compliant deck (12) disposed beneath and supporting anunderside surface of the conveyor belt (20), and a spring biasing device operative to biasthe compliant deck (12) and the conveyor belt (20) toward the contact surface of theregistration plate (18).
